5.3. Shorting Blocks: Factory Defaults

The UDP SiM3U1xx MCU card comes from the factory with pre-installed shorting blocks on several headers.

Figure 8 shows the positions of the factory default shorting blocks.

Shorting blocks are installed across the USB (J14), VDD (J15), VIO (J17) Imeasure jumpers. A shorting block is

installed on J16 to connect the potentiometer to the User Control portion of the board. A shorting block is also

installed on J18 to connect the VIOHD pin of the MCU to the VIO pin of the MCU.
